Current campaign status

The creators of Next Friday: Magical Meow Meow have linked a Kickstarter creator profile as part of their plan to fund a second episode. As of our July 15, 2026 check, we did not verify a public live campaign page containing a launch date, funding target, reward tiers, deadline, pledge button, or production schedule.

That means the accurate status is profile verified; campaign not yet confirmed live. The profile link itself is official because it appears in the creator-written description of the pilot. A profile is not the same object as an active project page, so this guide will not describe people as backers or display a campaign total before those things exist.

The status will change to live only after a public project page exposes a working pledge flow and remains connected to the verified creator identity. A preview image, pre-launch mention, social countdown, or cached search snippet is not enough on its own. When that threshold is met, we will record the campaign URL, creator name, opening and closing dates, stated goal, currency, and last verification time. Until then, leaving those fields blank protects readers from acting on information the project has not actually published.

The verified Kickstarter destination

The verification chain begins at the official YouTube upload with video ID yJsTa55AAjE. Its description asks viewers to follow the project’s Kickstarter plans and links directly to kickstarter.com/profile/1873424392. Our button uses that URL without a shortener, affiliate tag, tracking redirect, or copied checkout interface.

When a campaign launches, verify three points before pledging:

  1. The campaign is published by the same creator profile or is linked from that profile.
  2. The official YouTube channel or @nextfridayfilm account also links or announces it.
  3. The domain remains kickstarter.com through sign-in and payment, with no request to transfer money elsewhere.

This guide may link a future campaign page after those checks. It will still keep the creator profile as part of the source chain, because a familiar project title alone is not proof of ownership.

What the team says funding is for

The official pilot description says the next goal is funding for a second episode titled Next Friday: I’m in Love! That establishes a purpose at a high level: supporting the proposed continuation. It does not publish a budget breakdown, minimum goal, stretch goal, staffing plan, reward catalog, delivery date, or allocation by production department.

We therefore do not estimate how much animation “should cost” or convert the pilot’s runtime into a target amount. Independent animation budgets vary with scope, labor, schedule, location, existing assets, sound, music, platform fees, rewards, taxes, and contingency. Only a campaign owner can state what a particular goal covers.

Once a campaign page is public, this section can summarize its own description in original words and link readers to the full terms. We will not copy the entire pitch, reproduce reward art, or cache a changing total as though this were the transaction page.

How to follow the launch safely

The creators provide several first-party routes. Follow the Kickstarter profile, use the mailing-list form in the pilot description, subscribe to the official YouTube channel, or monitor @nextfridayfilm on X, Instagram, and TikTok. No single screenshot should override those linked accounts.

Email deserves the same caution. A legitimate project newsletter can announce a campaign, but inspect the destination before entering Kickstarter credentials. A display name, logo, or copied artwork can be imitated. The strongest path remains an official channel announcement that leads to the known creator profile and then to a Kickstarter-hosted project.

This website does not operate its own Episode 2 signup, so there is no parallel list that could be mistaken for the creators’ mailing list. If that changes in a future version, the form and privacy policy must identify this publication—not the production team—as the data controller.

Blank future milestones are preferable to fictional dates. When a stage changes, the row will retain its previous state in the update log rather than erasing the history that earlier readers saw.

All pledges, account access, card processing, reward surveys, refunds, and project messages should occur inside Kickstarter or another destination explicitly announced by the creators. Magical Meow Meow Cartoon Guide does not collect money, relay pledges, sell priority access, store Kickstarter credentials, or provide investment advice.

Crowdfunding is not a normal retail preorder. A campaign page should explain risks, delivery estimates, creator responsibilities, and reward terms. Read that current page before backing. If a reward, shipping region, tax, refund, or delay question is not answered there, ask the campaign owner through Kickstarter; this unofficial guide cannot create binding terms on the team’s behalf.

Do not send cryptocurrency, gift cards, direct bank transfers, or passwords to an account claiming that Kickstarter is “temporarily unavailable.” If a link looks inconsistent, return to the official pilot description and rebuild the verification chain from the beginning.

We update only when a material fact changes. A daily check with no change does not alter dateModified, because doing so would imply new information where none exists.

How this page differs from the Episode 2 tracker

This page answers funding questions: where the verified profile is, whether a campaign is live, how to follow it safely, and what campaign facts exist. The Episode 2 page answers creative-production questions: the planned title, what has been announced, which details remain unknown, and whether a release date or cast exists.

The pages link to each other because funding and production are related, but they should not duplicate whole sections. A campaign could launch without an episode being ready, and an episode status could change without a new campaign milestone.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Magical Meow Meow Kickstarter live?

We have verified the creator profile linked by the official pilot, but not a public live campaign page as of July 15, 2026. Do not treat the profile alone as an active pledge page.

Use https://www.kickstarter.com/profile/1873424392, preferably reached from the official YouTube description. A future campaign should be attached to or announced by that profile.

What will the money fund?

The creators identify Episode 2, Next Friday: I’m in Love!, as the funding goal. No verified public budget, amount, or reward structure was available during our check.

Does this site receive a commission?

No. There are no affiliate parameters, referral payments, paid placements, or pledge services on this page.

Where do I ask about refunds or rewards?

Ask the campaign owner through the eventual Kickstarter project page and rely on its current terms. This unofficial publication cannot promise delivery, interpret private pledge records, or issue a refund.
